About MyRight

MyRight is the Swedish disability rights movement's organization for international development cooperation and aid. We were founded in 1981 and are a politically and religiously independent organization.

The purpose of the association MyRights is to:
- support the member organisations' development cooperation
- to improve the opportunities for people with disabilities to form and develop their own organizations
- that through advocacy and influence work
- share their experiences and knowledge with national and international bodies

Together with our member and partner organizations, MyRight has worked for over 40 years to ensure that people with disabilities have access to their rights.
