One billion people, 15 percent of the world's population, have some form of disability. And all over the world, these people are among those most at risk of becoming poor, with poorer access to education and care and fewer opportunities to participate in politics and the labor market. In conflict countries, their situation is even more vulnerable.
So how can people with disabilities be better included in the work for peace? MyRight has received funding from the Folke Bernadotte Academy to conduct a study on how people with disabilities can be better included in peace processes.
