Kalle was the first with a pronounced personal disability to be elected to the Finnish Parliament. He was also chairman of Abilis, a Finnish organization that works with disability issues and international development cooperation. Abilis coordinates with MyRight and contributed to some of our partner organizations in Nepal and Bolivia, among others.
