Seminar: “10 years to go: Disability Inclusion in the 2030 Agenda”

Today, December 10, MyRight celebrates International Human Rights Day by broadcasting a filmed seminar on how people with disabilities can be better included in the work on Agenda 2030.

Through Agenda 2030, the countries of the world have promised to create a sustainable future and eradicate extreme poverty for all. The watchword "Leave No One Behind" permeates the agenda and its global goals.

With 10 years left until 2030, MyRight held a seminar on the topic. Among the speakers was Akiko Ito, head of the UN Secretariat for the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, Dr. Monjurul Kabir, Senior Advisor, Gender Equality and Disability Inclusion at UN-Women, and Vladimir Cuk, Executive Director, at The International Disability Alliance (IDA). The program was also attended by specialists from the UNPRPD, UNDP, the Atlas Alliance, Sida, the Foreign Ministry's unit for Global Agenda and the World Blind Union.

You can see the seminar later in the spring Youtube page.
